Your bouquet features in a lot of the photos and adds greatly to your memories of the day, so it's important that the colour, size and style of the flowers reflects your personality and also enhances your dress. Buttonholes The guys get to look good too! Their flowers are often designed to reflect the bouquet flowers and are usually worn on the jacket lapel - on the left hand side with the “stem” down. Cake Flowers A growing wedding trend is to decorate your cake with fresh flowers. We're happy to liaise with your cake person as to when and how these flowers are placed on the cake. Ceremony Whether you're married in a church, on the beach, a park or private garden fresh flowers can frame the event that will join you both together. Many of these arrangements can be used again at your reception. Receptions Table decorations set the mood for your guests and should compliment the theme of your wedding as well as the decorations supplied by the venue and the existing room décor. Finishing Touches It's often the little things in life that count the most. In our relaxed studio, just 15 minutes south of Brisbane in rural Rochedale, we (Sandee or Dave) give you our undivided attention during your appointment - no shop interruptions. And, this very personal and very individual service extends right through to your wedding day with the delivery of your bouquets and the setting up of your ceremony and/or reception flowers.
We've been creating wedding bouquets for almost 20 years and as we deal exclusively in wedding and corporate function work, we have a wealth of experience and keep up with the latest construction techniques, making sure your flowers look great throughout your special day - especially for the photos, those perfect moments that capture the day forever. Our bouquets aren't just bunches of flowers.
We arrange appointment times to suit your schedule, lately even discussing floral concepts via email. With many of our brides living overseas while trying to plan their Brisbane wedding, the internet is fantastic, and once the bride has booked us, photos and ideas go back and forth till we're both happy with the final designs. For brides here in Brisbane, again once they've booked us, we're happy to meet on site to discuss ceremony/reception ideas, we've even met brides during a later dress fitting to fine tune the bouquet design in order to ensure everything's perfect on the day.
